Shine your light upon us
The damned, the cast-aways, the forgotten
Those you would forgive
That others never would

Sky, give us your forgiveness
Show us that though you throw us rain
You can still relent your assault and show us
The true colours of the beauty you have

O beauty of the starlit sky
Show your moonlight once more
For us, the forgotten and the invisible
Those you would show pity for
And wrap us in your embrace

Sky, give us your forgiveness
Show us that though you throw us snow
You can still show the beauty
Of softly falling pure white beauty

O beauty of the white sky
Show that piercing ray of light
So that we may have a guide
On our way out of this hell
And see your beauty beheld once more
