We All Die Eventually
by: Jonathan Marsolais
I look at my watch
As every second slowly ticks by
I feel closer to my freedom
With every passing minute
It's not as if we can avoid it
Death will come to us eventually
Whetyher through bullet wounds or old age
We all die eventually
I see the time on the clock as I fall
Has my time finally come?
I doubt it, for I could never die
That easily, could I?
It's not as if we could avoid it
Death comes knocking on our door eventually
Whether through a car accident or disease
We all die eventually
I sometimes wish time could go faster
So my liberation could be sooner
That I may fade
From this hazardous life
We can't avoid it
Death crosses our path eventually
Whether through suicide or euthanasia
We all die eventually

This gives a very realistic and jaded view of what i see in the lfie that surrounds me. Sorry if I sound in such a depressing state, but I may seem stuck forever stuck in such a shape.
