Our injuries too great, too lethal
I wish we could just lay down
To spend our last moments together
But you would never do that, would you?

We are the broken
With injuries, scars so visible
We are the broken
With broken bones, all sticking out

Our blood flowing together, mixing
I want it all to stop
To spend a little time together
In the unloving embrace of your arms

We are the broken
The love between us long gone
We are the broken
Scars so visible, all stciking out

Our love unstable, too weak
I wish it all to go away
To spend some time away
So our wounds may heal once more
